According to Waldemar H. Fries – The Double Elephant Folio – page 169 Teylers acquired the set August 24th 1833 from Audubon’s son Victor Gifford.
The set was used in 1971 to make the so-called Amsterdam Edition. Our Audubon Heritage Edition prints are indistinguishable from these Teylets originals.
